Description

Cigar history has followed a different path between crime and pleasure. Originally demonized upon its arrival, the tobacco trade was later entirely monopolized by Europe. The success of the tobacco expansion is explained by the efforts to control it.

In the century between 1717 and 1817, the Spanish Crown prohibited cigar production in the Carribean islands and the rest of the American colonies. Although its precious leaves continued to be grown on the on the other side of the ocean, the puro" cigar rolling we all know today could only be done at the Seville Royal Factory, who were attempting to supply an even more demanding market in the world. This absurd prerogative of the Spanish Crown led to a dramatic increase in the price of the cigar and, of course, the birth of the Bandolero.

This intrepid figure, traveling hidden roads with the tobacco leaves, transported them to be rolled in the other countries which let to an excellently priced authentic cigar experience dressed in the charm of what was then forbidden.

The cigars offered here today come from the those mystic Bandolero routes. From places where tobacco plantations are still a long-held tradition, through countres where hands have shapped them.

Crafted with well aged, selected tobaccos, the Bandolero is finished with only the finest Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. The two year mininimum aging process allows the rich tobaccos to deliver the complex flavors the true aficionados seek.

Bandoleros final destinatons are wherever a cigar expert recognizes its aromas and flavor, enjoying the quality of a beautiful and unique cigar.

Available in three different series, the Serie A features a darker higher priming wrapper than the Serie T, while the Serie C features a Rosado Habano wrapper.
