Description
Easily season a wood humidor in just one step with Boveda 84% RH. Nothing to measure, fill or spill.
Improperly seasoning with distilled water can shock and permanently damage a wood humidor and its seal. Why risk a cracked, moldy or warped humidor? Help your humidor achieve the ideal 70% relative humidity (RH) to maintain an ideal environment for premium cigars. If you skip seasoning a new wood humidor you’ll constantly battle low humidity levels that make for dry cigars and lousy smokes.
Create the ideal humidor with the global leader in 2-way humidity control—The mess-free way to condition a wood humidor before you add cigars and Boveda patented humidity control to restore and/or maintain premium cigars to a precise Relative Humidity (RH).
Why season? Boveda provides moisture directly to the cellular structure of a wood humidor to create a better seal and prevent the wood from stealing moisture from your premium cigars.
Season easily—Just place the Boveda 84% RH in an EMPTY humidor for two (2) weeks. Toss Boveda Seasoning away when you’re done (Boveda isn’t reusable) and replace with desired Boveda RH.
Use the right amount—Use one (1) Size 60 Boveda for every 25 TOTAL cigars a wood can humidor can hold OR use a Size 320 for every 100 total cigars your wineador/coolador can hold. Use Size 60 84% RH for wood humidors.
Example Wood Humidor: For a 300-cigar capacity humidor, use twelve (12) Size 60 Boveda at once. Seasoning a smaller humidor? Use fewer Boveda, (1) Size 60 for every 25 cigar capacity.
Example Wineador/Coolador: If you have a 250-cigar capacity wineador/coolador, use three (3) Size 320 Boveda at once.
Don't mix RH levels within the same humidor. And do not use Boveda in the same humidor with other humidification products because they will fight against each other and reduce the efficiency of Boveda.
