Handy, reliable as a sitter, sturdy of shank, and thick-walled of bowl — these are the basic aspects of this Chubby Cutty design, along, of course, with the dashing lines of the classic Cutty shape itself. Along with that a good bit of lively color has been included as well, with a choice of acrylic for the stems that was a nod to the bright warmth of the amber stems of ages past. Just as the design of this pipe reinterprets the slender clay Cutty of old as something more robust, the choice of stem provides vibrancy without amber's fragility.
