Tatuaje
Tatuaje's signature medium bodied line was blended by Pete Johnson and is rolled at the My Father Cigar Factory. The Ecuadorian Sumatra seed wrapper provides fantastic flavor with filler made of premium Nicaraguan tobaccos. Notes of wood, caramel, coffee, white pepper with a light citrus
Tatuaje Black Label
Tatuaje Black Label was originally a private blend for brand owner Pete Johnson. The Black Label is a Nicaraguan Puro that brings notes of pepper, espresso and leather with an exceptionally long finish on the palate. Very rich but remains in the medium range in terms of strength.
Tatuaje Cabaiguan
The Cabaiguan by Tatuaje provides a classic taste with just a hint of white pepper to stimulate the sensations. The golden wrapper leaf is gorgeous to look and at and while you're smoking you can't help think you're having a cup of coffee with vanilla cream. It sits firmly in the mild to medium realm and will be sure to please those looking for a classic profile.
Tatuaje Cohetes
The Tatuaje Cohetes Sumatra is an offshoot of the 7th Capa Especial Sumatra, in a smaller format. This cigar is a medium bodied Petite Robusto blended by Pete Johnson and rolled at the My Father Cigar Factory. The Ecuadorian Sumatra seed wrapper provides fantastic flavor with filler made of premium Nicaraguan tobaccos.
Tatuaje Cojonu
Tatuaje owner Pete Johnson was realasing these Cojonu's every 3 years since 2003. Cojonu (pronounce Koh-ho-NU), is Cuban slang for ballsy or brash. The Cojonu line certainly lives up to the moniker with a more amped up full-bodied profile than the original "brown label".
Tatuaje Escasos
The Escasos are a limited production run variant of the original Tatuaje Brown Label. What makes this different? Well, it's the ridiculously silky smooth ecuadorian rosado claro that gives the the blend a lighter, more aromatic expression compared to the darker notes of the original.
Tatuaje Havana VI
The Tatuaje Havana VI is an all Nicaraguan blend with a nice oily leather brown tan wrapper. Often called the "Red Label" by Tatuaje enthusiasts, it sits perfectly in the medium-bodied range with a rich, toasty and earthy quality and that leather note found in many Tatuajes.
Tatuaje Havana VI Verocu
If the Havana VI (Red Label) was a stock Ford Mustang the Verocu would be the souped up Shelby Cobra. How did owner Pete Johnson accomplish this? He fermented the ecuadorian wrapper longer so it became a dark and oily maduro while adding ligero to the filler which provided for a more robust exeperience while maintaning some of that stock profile.
Tatuaje Nuevitas
Nuevitas (new in Spanish) is a Tatuaje line that owner Pete Johnson discontinued more than a decade ago and resurrected in 2018. Manufactured at My Father Cigar Factory in Nicaragua, the first light will get you a big dose of spice that softens as you continue, providing flavors of wood, leather, almonds and chocolate.
Tatuaje Reserva
The Tatuaje Reserva is an extension of the "brown label" made in smaller quanties. Top-tier Cuban-seed tobaccos are used in the filler, providing robust, medium to full-bodied blends with notes of earth, leather, wood, caramel and black pepper on the finish.
Tatuaje Tattoo
The Tatuaje Tattoo was a cigar created as an everyday affordable cigar but it certainly doesn't taste like it. Produced in the My Father Factory in Esteli Nicaragua the Tattoo is covered in a silky smooth Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with long filler leaves grown in the rich soils of Nicaragua.
